b4 form : my wife will land later, do we need to fill two diff b4 forms

Hi guys,

thank you for your help in advance,

I will be landing this week at toronto so accordingly i need to b4 forms.


Question: Do i and my wife need to fill different b4 forms seperatly while landing, or
i need to fill one b4 form containing the list of item that i bought and other b4 forms mentioned as goods to follow that will have list of goods my wife will be getting ? i wont be importing anything seperatly.

Guys please help, i will travelling in 32 hours and bit confused about it. thank you very much.

Hi,

If you have any un-accompanied, cargo shipment which will be arriving later, after your landing, you need to prepare B4 forms for the items shipped. It is not necessary to make forms in your wife's name.
If you have only accompanied items carrying together with both you and wife as checked baggage, you can declare the value of items as required in the 'embarkation form' which you will be getting in the flight before landing. You don't have to prepare B4 forms for that. However, at the customs desk the officer will ask you and your wife while landing about any thing imported with you. That means any valuable items. I don't think you can bring so much items in checked baggage as your baggage allowance will only be 23 Kg (per suitcase) x 2 = 46 kg per passenger plus hand carry of 7 or 8 kg.
