As per the Education Evaluation:
1. Bachelors in Engineering (ECE), 4 years, India - Comparable degree in Canada -> Bachelors
2 .Master of Science (MS in Computer Information systems), 2 years, USA - Comparable degree in Canada -> Private Career college qualification

So, which option should we use in CIC for Express entry. ?
1. Master's Degree, or Professional Degree needed to practice in a Licensed Profession
OR
2. Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years

The california university looks like a small time diploma mill. That's why it's not recognized as masters.

Thank you for posting. May I know which evaluation did you choose ? ICAS or WES. I evaluated my transcripts from WES and got my report on 08/07/18. I am wondering how you got your CALUMS degree evaluated.

Credential Authentication: Documents were sent directly by the institution

Awarded By: California University of Management and Sciences
Status: ACICS Accredited (see remarks below)
Major/Specialization: Computer Information Systems
Canadian Equivalency: Master's degree from a non-recognized institution
Remarks: Only institutions accredited by one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States are regarded by WES as recognized in Canada.

I emailed ICAS: Will they do evaluation for ACICS Universities and below are their reply.

We would not be able to provide a meaningful assessment of study completed through an ACICS-accredited institution. Like WES, and all other agencies in Canada, we can provide a meaningful assessment only if the institution is regionally-accredited.

ICAS does not provide any meaning assessment. Private career college qualification does not have any meaning and seems not considered by CIC.
Did you get your Masters Evaluated..What was the outcome?

Hey Sri,

I did my Master's evaluation from WES, but they did not do the evaluation. They notified that Master's degree from a non-recognized institution and it is not recognized.
