When you open ecas after logging in your details that is where you see it. It is either "in process" or "decision made".

In old style of GCKey my background check was "in progress" and final decission "not started"

last week when cic changed the style of GCKey my comments was changed.
background check "we are processing your background check"
final decision - "your application is in progress"
its only the new version of comments or it's a change in my application ?

NDVO issued PPR to FSW ON 10/3/17 WHOSE MEDICAL DONE 26 NOV2016
so 3 months time is true
BUT IT TAKES ABOUT 3 MONTHS AFTER YOUR MEDICAL IS RECEIVED BY CIC

for permanent resident applications, it normally takes three months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Panel Physician before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application. This is true only if you have already complied with our other requests (e.g. to submit other documents).

for all whose medicals done in dec 2016 or jan 2017 first week please pack your bags

you do know that there are many people who's medical was done in June 2016 are still waiting for decision?

I confirm this
I have done my medicals on 5 august 2016 and i am still waiting
the strange thing is that on the visa office where is my application, one applicant who has done medicals one month behind me, has receive request for pasport this month.

My gckey status is exactly same as yours, even I've already got my PPR and DM..

let's see whether it will be changed after having my visa back..

Same situation here dear.
Are the 30 days for sending the pp working days or normal calendar days? Also waiting for pp back with visa. One week gone already.

My ecas shows only 3 lines as stated below


We received your application on dated
We sent you an acknowledgement on dated
Medical results have been received

But there no line stating that we started the processing of your application! !!!

Anyone with the same experience!
Is this normal?
