Are you inland or outland and your BG status?

It is normal to wait a while after RPRF - RPRF doesn't gurantee a PPR but it is a positive sign. They are likely finishing up your application or your application is ready for PPR and just waiting for a batch to send out, if all is well.

Hello,

I am an Inland Applicant and it says BG in progress... and what do you mean by a batch to send out. Do they send out the PPR's in a group?

Yes, they do send PPRs in batches. If everything is okay with your application, you should expect PPR pretty soon as I am 31-August-2015 AOR and received my PPR last week.

My suggestions is to wait until it's 6 months since AOR and submit a case specific enquiry.

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Check what is going on with the other applicants under the same category (CEC or FSW inland) that applied at the same time as you.

If everybody is late, then there is nothing to be concerned, otherwise they will explain to you what is missing on your Case Specific Enquiry.

hope that helps

Hello Micbm,

Thanks for sharing the information and the link as well. When I was going through the link, can i write an explanation letter. I work with one of the Major bank in Canada in a Managerial position and can I mention this in the letter and request for an urgency process. Will it be helpful?
