i read somewhere a long time ago that it was 30 days but I’m not even sure if that’s the case these days also I can’t tell how it differs in Mexico VO.. hope someone with more info will throw more light on this for youI got the request for ARC this morning. How long does it usually take? We're México VO
As far as I know, yes. If you lived more than 6 months in Canada you need the RCMP clearance, and the police certificate or clearance from any other country you might have lived for more than 6 monthsHello house!.... Does everyone applying for ARC need to provide an RCMP clearance ? Thanks
Okay got it..Thanks for the replyAs far as I know, yes. If you lived more than 6 months in Canada you need the RCMP clearance, and the police certificate or clearance from any other country you might have lived for more than 6 months
Ohhh man , that sucks , did you get a letter of why it is they refused ? was it under spousal sponsorship ? most of the times re-applying is the better (faster way ) rather than appealing , but you have your reasonsWe are also going through the Warsaw VO. We got our ARC denied, we are nowgoing through the appeal process now.
I wish we could be more informed atleast about some of the reasons they give when they don’t approve it. Waiting in limbo is the worstSo we just have to wait till they respond whenever they feel like it without any updates.. they they give bogus reasons for why it didn’t work out
Not too sure about that am kinda in that situation. Thinking maybe I should pay now or just wait till they request it.. and I only have 3 months left on my ban and it has been dead silent since the beginning thinking maybe I should ask them to withdraw my ARC application and just give me the money so I’ll wait the three months remaining and when my spousal application is approved or not then I’ll know what to do because I’m so tiredAnother question pls....Do they request the fees along with the ticket refunds (Flight was paid by them) during the process or do we just have to pay that outright without them notifying us?
We are appealing because the reason they denied the ARC is not one of the reasons they use in their procedures manual. Basically, it is a bias towards my husband. An appeal is a better way to go since I want to make CIC accountable for their wrong decision!Ohhh man , that sucks , did you get a letter of why it is they refused ? was it under spousal sponsorship ? most of the times re-applying is the better (faster way ) rather than appealing , but you have your reasons

Hey if you don’t mind me asking, what info did they request from you from IRB, I’m assuming you’re in the same predicament as me (failed refugee and now spousal?) also with your question I don’t know how long it takes, hope someone can give you an answer soon .Anyone knows how long does the IRB take to reply with the information needed for the ARC? Also, are there any recent news?
Sounds like we're on the same boat indeed. They requested copies of the reasons for decision and order regarding the refugee claim, including the conclusion. The ARC letter and the $400 fee. We sent an inquiry for the copies but no signs yet, getting a little nervous.Hey if you don’t mind me asking, what info did they request from you from IRB, I’m assuming you’re in the same predicament as me (failed refugee and now spousal?) also with your question I don’t know how long it takes, hope someone can give you an answer soon .
