Authorization to return to Canada.

. My visa office is Mexico but after I paid the ARC and sent the letter of explanation with pictures and all the details I am pregnant my due date is in January we asked for a chance to let me husband be here before that I am not sure if that help but I sent everything on Oct 11 and November 9 they asked for my husband passport and 2 pictures for the permanent resident card and the letter said that my husband permanent resident visa will expire in April 30 2017 we also have 2 kids I sent a lot of information to them I filedthe web form to let them know that our application passed the normal processing time I was trying to bother them , my application took 18 months in total , but I think the maximum they can take to process the ARC is 6 weeks hope you will hear from them soon

I just did not understand the reason why his PR is due in April 30? Have you asked them about that? is it the way it is supposed to be?

I will be here hoping and praying for all of this to come to an end! The permanent resident visa always has an expiration date you need to use it before that time I think they give 6 months I came to Canada 11 years ago and my permanent resident visa had an expiration date

This expiration date is the end of the 12 months of the medical exam, if he doesnt land by that date, he will have to redo the medical exam and then get the landing visa issued again.
This is how it works for everybody.

It depends if the agent is satisfied with the evidence submitted.
Regarding ARC, since you won your appeal, they keep processing your application and ask you for the ARC application and explanation letter and the fees, that's how it works for sponsorshipshhip app so far.

We just won our spousal appeal this month. We have to transfer the file now from India to Europe. We don't stay in India anymore.

It takes from weeks to a year and sometimes even more, it depends on the visa office and the situation. There's no exact timeline to process ARC.
