Yes, they request in July, We submited 20 days after, it's July 2018,almost a year.. Hopefull it's done now...

I usually check status from "cic.gc.ca",I don't have Gckey account.. So I don't know why Medical status changed in your end. sorry I can't help at this point.

If I am not wrong, you have done Medical exam on June 18. received PPR Golden email July 1, about 2 weeks...right ???
I did my on June 25, hopefully I am lucky like you, will be receiving PPR golden email next week July 09...cross figure ~~!
