I agree with TANMEX just follow the link and pay it online. I had to submit my ARC to Ottawa and that is what I did and send them a receipt along with my documents.

Thank you for answering my question, yes I paid the fee online then submitted all the documents for my spouse via the link they (Ottawa visa office) opened via MyCic account last week. Then today I received another message from them asking my spouse to submit the ARC application by mailing to the responsible regional visa office and then upload proof of application submitted. He's working as a investor in Zimbabwe so the office will be the one in South Africa. Our concern is and always being if a interview is required, he will need to travel to South Africa for that matter so as a Chinese citizen, he will need to apply a visa to South Africa for that. Since you mentioned you submitted your ARC to Ottawa office, did they ask for you to do an interview?

Anyone else has similar experience?

It is hard to tell whether he will be called for an interview or not. What you can do is submit a copy of everything to the regional visa office they asked you to.

My husband had an interview since April 2013 and we were refused. We then filed an appeal and won last October so after the appeal the case was being processed in Ottawa. Since last October to now all requested documents were sent to Ottawa as that's where the request came from.

Thank you, yes that's why I was confused, because in the first letter, they asked us to submit the application to the office where my PR is processing, since I'm applying in Canada, it's the office in Ottawa, so we did. Now in the second letter I received this morning, they are asking my spouse to submit to a regional office but only upload the proof of submission to them. My husband was taking a vacation in China and returned to work in Zimbabwe last Friday, if they asked us to submit to a regional office in the first place, he could do it in China and it would be much easier since the tension between Zimbabwe and South Africa is high right now, we are worried for him to be able to get a visa and go to South Africa if an interview is required

The reason you were refused because the officer didn't believe the marriage was genuine? Or the the ARC that was refused after the interview?

I believe you got an approval , otherwise they won't ask you repay the removal expenses .

Hi everyone, it's 3am in Ottawa right now but I just want to share the good news. I've been contact the Beijing Visa Office in the past month for my husband's certificate of departure to be issued. So when the CPC Ottawa processing centre asked us to apply ARC for him directly from regional visa office, I emailed the one in Beijing again. Long story short, last Friday they replied to me asking me to attached a PDF file including my husband's certificate of departure and receipt for ARC application, so I did and also attached our letter of explanation and the letter I received from Ottawa requesting the ARC. On Monday they replied saying the Beijing office now has enough information to processing the application and they will email us the result shortly. Yes we didn't mail the package nor they asked for everything required from the ARC page on CIC website. Today they emailed my husband and his ARC is granted! Yeah! Finger crossing for RFPP soon! It's only 5 days for Beijing to process the ARC what a miracle. If anyone needs the time line in future, I think they told me their turnaround time for ARC is normally 2 weeks

Hello folks
I have a question regarding Arc. I have applied for parmanent residency under express entry along with my husband. My husband had an exclusion orders, and the his time period for exlusion is going to expire on August 02. We were expecting that cic will ask us to pay arc fees .but they asked for RPRF on july 15. So i m confused here will they not ask for arc fees at all or they will ask us just before sending PPR.
