Just sent our application out on Friday!!!! Oh my gosh, I'm sick with worry! I really hope it goes through okay!

Yay for you guys!! That was such a load off knowing that it was no longer in our hands. Now just sit back and wait, they seem to be catching up in Mississauga, our application was transferred to Ottawa and that's where the approval came from. They sent a big chunk of March apps to Ottawa, I guess because Mississauga was swamped. Hopefully the time for sponsorship approval will come down soon. Best of luck.

I am sending mine tomorrow. I have had it sitting on my counter the entire weekend and its driving me crazy, I keep thinking of other things which I could add - none of which are important at all. I will be so relieved once its gone and out of my control!!

Oh my gosh, I was the SAME WAY! I kept trying to think of things to shove in there that would probably end up hurting my application, not helping it! I guess I just have to trust in the fact that our relationship IS genuine, and hope they can see it too! Good luck to you as well!!!

hey dawndarkharp do you want to join the July thread? I have started a spreadsheet for applications received in July: just need to know the VO ( im guessing it is Sydney?), Date medicals done, date application sent and date received.
Let me know and I will add you- there are a few of us going through Sydney this month- hopefully it's a good sign

our application was received on july 10th in mississauga.....now we wait ! it's a relief that months and months of prep is finally over. but i keep thinking i didn't check over the forms enough. oh well out of our hands now!

good luck to everyone going through sydney! one plus is, i've read on here that in the past few years no one has ever been requested to do an interview in sydney, which is great since we can't afford a flight!

It IS great! And my application was received two days after yours, so it will make a good comparison of timelines etc.

I have already found out I have submitted a form wrong! The 'ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERS" form... I only put my name instead of my parents and siblings! Hopefully it doesn't delay the processing too much.

I think I will wait to resubmit that one to the Sydney office after I get a UCI number (in three months time) at least that way I can submit other evidence/forms I may have completed incorrectly along the way.....

Hopefully there is nothing else though but the list of errors seems to keep getting longer!

It seems to me that that form has given a lot of people trouble. I wouldn't have even included it if I hadn't found this forum!! I realised it's required, no matter what. I'm sure we've all blundered something or other - it's a HUGE application with a lot of funny wording to screw us up. I'm surprised they don't make it easier on themselves to go through the applications and make it straightforward! But I guess if they did, they couldn't weed out the determined ones we are

Wow! 3 months? Is that usually how long it takes?
