August Visitor / Tourist Visa Timeline

Seen the July Visitor Visa thread and looked liked things moved rather smoothly in July.

Wondering how about August timeline, seems like there is a bit of a backlog in August, as I've read about many complaints and long waiting periods.

Please send your application timeline, for online or paper based.

Mine as follows:

APPLICATION FROM THAILAND: Processing time 24 Days

• August 18: Submit Docs -> Pay Online -> Receive Payment Conformation Email Straight Away
• August 23: 5-days later still waiting for application number, stuck on submitted.

How about others?

August 8th--> submitted
August 12th--> application number and biometrics letter
August 14th--> Biometrics done!
Normal processing time 14 days as mentioned on CIC website. However, no updates so far!

You still have a couple of days to left before the 14 days so, fingers crossed everything will be fine. At least you got an application letter.

No I don't! Do you? Whats your nationality? Dont get why certain countries should give them and others not ....weird
