Applied - Aug 27 , 2015
Blank update - Nov 4
Approved - Dec 23 , 2015
Mail Delivery - waiting

Blank update: November 8, December 25
Approval: December 29th 2015 (Just says approved, approval letter etc is not available) I just logged in to check and did not receive another email.
Mail Delivery: Pending

Hope the approval is real and not a system issue!

i got my full three year till 2018,12,24

Approval: December 30th 2015 (Just says approved, approval letter etc is not available) i received email notification.
i applied for Open work permit for my husband , still open. i.pray they give it to him too soon.

Same here. I applied for PGWP on Sep 02, and was approved on Dec 21. GOt my in-canada approval letter on system on Dec 23 (mail delivery pending). My husbands open work permit application is still open (pending decision). Hope he get it soon.

Did CIC ask for additional documents from you? I was asked to submit my employment letter on Dec 20.

they did not asked for that, because I summited that with the application before hope we here the good news concerning them soon.

this is horseshit! It says now that they are working on applications from august 12 when yesterday it was september 3rd!!!!

Congrats! I applied it at the same day as you did. Just received blank email.Nothing changed. Hopefully would be approved in January.

Applied on 5th Oct. No update. I get empty update each month.

I am currently working and I attached my offer letter when I applied for the visa.

Guys I would like to ask a question my wife came on visitor visa to Canada and I applied for her extension with my visa with my PGWP. Is it easier to get a visitor visa or I should have applied for open work permit for her. Please help.

Also I would like to know what is the waiting period to get a health card once you get the PGWP in your hand?

Guys, this is so confusing. On the website, the processing times now show as 1 month. I called CIC and they said they are still on Aug12th applications. I remember one time I checked and on the site it said they are on Sept 3rd. Such lazy asses these people are! I don't even know what to do.

I was wondering if anybody knows if you can apply for the TRV as soon as your application is approved online? Or do we have to wait for the actual mail delivery of the work permit before applying?

Hi,

You need to upload a copy of your work permit to apply for a TRV so you need to wait for mail delivery of the actual permit. Hope this helps.
