August/September Applicants PGWP timeline

Guess most of the people on the forum are May applicants for PGWP. has anyone applied in August / September ? Any blank updates or approvals during this time period?

Applied : 30th September
blank update : 16th November
approval : still waiting

I applied for extension of my PGWP on 27 Sept. Got two blank updates. For you info. I renewed my passport to get the rest of the work permit because I was given only two years

Aug 28th

Both of us got one blank update so far.

Hey blessing1 did your work permit say on it that you can extend it? I know a few people who applied for extension without the note on the work permit and still got the extension so I applied with the extension of the same passport. Generally it is said that if you did your bachelors you should be getting 3 years but as the passport expired I got 2 years tho my work permit didn't mention anything about passport renewal in order to get another permit.

Hey guys. Here is my roommate's timeline:

- Applied: Sep 8th, 2015
- Paid: Full amount ($255)
- Blank updates: one time in Nov.
- Approval: Nov 19th, 2015
- Mail delivery: Received on Nov 27th.

I applied for PGWP the same day. However, I got nothing.

And also, I saw somebody else's case (applied on Sep 19) got approved on Nov 20.

Therefore, I'm totally confused about cic's work.

September 14,2015-cic received
October 8,2015- start process
October 9,2015- acknowledging receipt

No more updates untill now,but im praying and hoping this month my owp will send it to me

Given current circumstance, I think we cannot get it before Xmas. I applied for it on Sep 8 as well. There was no response except for two blank updates. The process still seems follow chronological order roughly. People who obtained the bloody permit within 2 months are extremely lucky!!! That's not fair!!!!!!

Applied Sept 23rd. Received two blank updates till now. I wonder if our applications will be delayed because of Christmas. New Years etc. CIC is LAZY!
