Wow!!!!
God be praised!!!
Congratulations.
And please DO NOT forget to share with house your experience you had with AVO that you promised to share few weeks back
Good Day My Dearest Forumites.
I want to sincerely thank all those who have rejoiced with me. May God continue to give you all a reason to rejoice on this path to Canada. Also, I pray that He will place us on the path of abundant life(presently & eternally) as we gradually begin the actual relocation process.
I promised to highlight my experience with the AVO in the last couple of weeks. This is it:
*Request for initial medical exams & its execution are as stated on my timeline.
March 3rd: AVO sent a mail concerning the inadequacy of my POF (due to their non-acknowledgement of the property valuation reports included as part of POF). This mail went into my spam mail and I wasn't checking it. I usually find time to check only my in-box.
April 1st: I wrote AVO asking for the requirements to include a new dependant in my application, entirely oblivious of the unread mail.
April 3rd: AVO replied with my request & added a reminder about the March 3rd mail, which had a deadline, expiring in a few days, attached. I stood the risk of having my application withdrawn if feedback didn't reach AVO in time.
April 9th: AVO received my baby's documents & updated bank statements (of course with evidence to back the legitimate source of the funds in it)
April 24th: AVO sent my baby's medical request.
April 25th: Medicals done.
May 15th: PPR
Lessons learnt:
(1) The use of valuation report of properties is not useful in showing POF.
(2) No matter how tight your schedule is: Always check both your Inbox & spam mails.
(3) Lastly, AVO may be slow compared to other VO's but they are working!
My inquiry:
(1)Please is any one using/has used IOM Lagos/ Abuja in the purchase of flight ticket(s) in recent times?
Kindly let me in on your experience(s).
(2) Also, which is the best organization for a medic to use for document/credential evaluation
Please let's all stay focused as we proceed to make the best of this God given opportunity.
