Pls wat's a GCMS?

GCMS is Global Case Management System. It is the Citizenship and
Immigration Canada’s (CIC’s)
single, integrated and worldwide
system used internally to process
applications for citizenship and
immigration services.

GCMS stores only the type of
personal information required to
process citizenship and
immigration clients. The type of
personal information collected
includes, but is not limited to,
client identification (i.e.,
family name and given names,
gender, date of birth, country of
birth, etc.), contact information
and history, educational and
employment information.

Arese, I am surprised you are not familiar with CAIPS Note now called GCMS. I ordered for same as far as July, 2013 when there was no movement on MI 3 cases. Please make haste. I think it will be very helpful.

Hi Jodav 3, pls ll like to know how did it help ur appln? I mean wat were the things you saw in d gcms notes that explained the delay or processing of your appln?because somebody asked in the 2013 forum but am nt sure anybody has applied or gotten one after PER?

Phunrae my man, I do not think you should bother about it for now because you are doing well with time. But as for me then, my agent based in Canada applied on my behalf albeit reluctantly because they felt I was just worrying for nothing. In any case, There was nothing extraordinary inside the GCMS as it was obvious from the notes that they were just doing background check as at that time. But you will see the different activities on your file. But if there are issues, you will notice it from the notes on the file. Hope I have been able to answer you.
