Congrats Emmy-est.

I can imagine the joy in your home at the moment! ! !

From your timeline, I can see that you received your AOR in 03/2012. Kindly confirm this.

Also, pls confirm whether you are a FSW or PNP applicant.

Thanks for your prompt response.

[Your response will help the house know if AVO has gone outside of the FIFO rule.]

The day trip to Accra was successfully made yesterday and the Ugwu leaves safely tucked away in my "waist" ;D The story is not different from what we have seen in time past. Mandie was simply wonderful, and the famous Accra Jollof rice was equally attempted Tongue :P :P. I met a guy, whom from Etike's post i understood is her Hubby, we chatted and connected immediately and also flew back together on Arik.

I will like to appreciate everybody that have been with us through this thick and thin and pray that this wonderful experience will go round in Jesus mighty name. Amen

@ Chioma, i rejoice with you on your PRV and to all waiting, keep praying and trusting God and He will make the desired difference. 8)

Great House,

The Good news will spread to everyone in this house. Just Be patient and hold your GOD high.
Please to our senior folks in this house, what efforts are you making to evaluate your credentials before entering into Canada since this was not mandatory for FSW until May 2013. Or Can this be done while in Canada? I remember a friend did his own in 2011 shortly after he picks up his Visa for employment purpose.
What is the procedure or steps for evaluating credentials as applicable to applicant who apply before May 2013. Please advise.

Emmy_est is FSW. Accra can be very unpredictable but one thing is certain, the updates can only be delayed but will certainly come. Lets continue to keep positive attitude while waiting.

Ikemba,

CONGRATULATIONS. It is true that those who do so much for others will always have their responsibilities taking care of by Our FAITHER-THE ALMIGHTY GOD. I rejoice with u.
what do you advise on credential evaluation? You know it was not part of the process until May 2013 where FSW applicant are expected to evaluate their foreign credentials before applying. what about those who had earlier apply? Please advise.

You will need to find out which Evaluation body is responsible for the Province you intend to land. World education Services (WES) is good for Ontario and some other Provinces, while International Qualifications Assessment Services (IQAS) is also good for Alberta etc. it makes sense to begin the process while you are still here, because it will require your getting your transcript and that can be very tortuous.

You can get it evaluated for either employment purpose or Academic and the good thing is that once you get it done, the body will always send it to the organizations that needs it at your request.

Check out their website http://www.wes.org/ca/

Congratulations Ikemba on receipt of your Ugwu Leaf. It is a well deserved feat.

Please can you tell when you completed your medical and time interval to when mail on readiness of your COPR/PRV was received from Accra?

This may help those who just finish Medicals among us have an idea of when to expect further update from Accra.

Cheers!

Also, how many days grace period did Accra give to come over for the COPR/PRV? I read someone say they now give 8 business days from date of receipt of mail for the COPR. Is this true?

This may help those who just finish Medicals among us have an idea of when to expect further update from Accra.

Cheers!
