HIP HIP HIP, MR.
Mandie, welcome back, this is a sign that MR is sooner than we think. MaRch , our month of MiRacle

Thanks Mandie, I have decided to apply for a TRV this month because I have had enough of this waiting game. My common law partner is alone in canada wit no one to take care of him when he is sick, our 3 year old wants his daddy, my life has been at a stand still for two years. Our FSW PR application was in october 2011, if the processing time is 19 months, we shd have at done medicals. Pretoria South Africa had same processing time as accra up until the january up date yet october 2011 applicants did their medicals in august september last have faith in God but I believe we need to be practical too. Families need to be reunited quickly, the long wait is absolutely ridiculous.
On this forum some of u guys ve waited 19 months or more, have you been in touch with Accra? I say we shd write a petition, to the high commissioner to Gh and ask her for an update.

It is beautiful to know that Mandie is back in the house. You are welcome. We've all missed you. Let me join Gebil to say it is definitely sign of good things to come for all of us. I love this house because we share common purpose. Whenever I find myself in our senior MI1 thread I feel like a stranger because my posts are always off track. When they were busy with landing palava my thought remains on when MR shall come. I can see MRs are coming real time lJN.
@Abie ,dear ,pls what exactly is your question?

Sorry guys, somewhere in the text I meant to write, august september last year. I have faith in God ....

Mandie is baccccccccccccccck!!!!! - where you dey since?.....very long time no see nor hear!!!.

Welcome back, my dear!!!. I for give you direct 'hi5' now oooh.

Our wait is almost 19 months, for those of you who have waited 19 months and more have you been in touch with accra? If you have surely they gave you a more detailed reason other than what the usual generic letter contains ie' your application is in a queue blah blah.

I am so overwhelmed by you guys for the reception.....I have missed this thread too!

@ my dear Abie, I can assure you that none of us who have completed more than the 19 months have been silent. AVO just sends you the standard 'application in queue for processing' bla bla bla....
I can however assure you that each of us will be getting our MRs soon, and this month is a MiRaculous month.
You see, in your particular case,it's gonna be very difficult to convince them that you will return before your TRV expires considering you've put in PR application. I will suggest, rather, you send a very detailed e-mail to Accra about your current situation. Just be a bit more patient.

I have done 21 months and I am at my wits end...it's crazy, frustrating, but hey this is a PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA so it's worth all the frustration.
Just hang on tight guys.....

Mandie has spoken. And so shall it be.we are almost if not there already.

@ Abie. I think your situation is not unusual. There are guys in the house that have put up 20-21months without update from accra. You just need to be a little more patient as Mandie rightly said. Your MR will arrive soon. I had wanted to send CSI but I realized I may not get a response other than a generic one as I am yet to clock 19months.

No need for TRV for now as it may not be the best way to go for now. You need not settle for less having waited this far.
We shall all be settled with VISAs this year IJN.

Thanks guys, its nice to have this support

Mandie, good to have you back. Surely signs of good tidings. You're most welcome back.

Dear Abie, quite understand your situation. I've done 17 months & its not been easy. Same old generic reply to every inquiry.
My advice is in line with what's been stated.
1. Do put on a generously large garment of patience.
2. Do get a well detailed mail across to AVO explaining the peculiarity of your situation.
3. Your spouse should plan a visit to your base in Accra soonest, to ease the atmosphere around you & your kid.
4. Lastly, let not your knees know straightness as you constantly plead your case before God Almighty.

Wish you the very best.
