Moral dey low. Not even one mi3 don get MR from accra.........

Hi all. Its my first post here and I must say that its really intimidating the way NVDO and manila applicants are receiving PR like pure water which worrys me why accra's been in a limbo. With just few quota for the year as compared to the mentioned VOs with higher quotas, yet they still following the timeline of 6-12months on MI-3. July 12's around the corner, I pray accra won't keep us in the dark and hopefully we receive good news soonest.

Hello friends, brothers and sisters .

Unfortunately, my internet was down from last 4 days, and i was unable to get online at all. I am at office today, and am back online.

Well, by the Grace of Lord Shiva, i got my passports back yesterday, with Canadian Visa on it.

I would particularly like to thank everyone in this forum, who were there at all times with me... helping me in understanding the process, giving me more confidence when needed, and specially people like Saahil and Abhishek Goel, who call me even now to comfort me and discuss a lot of things.

For the benifit of all, my timelines are as follows:

FSW1, Code - 7216

Application sent to Sydney on 10-Nov-11
Processing Fees DD encashed on 17-Jan-12
PER mail received on 1-Feb-12
Documents transferred to NDVO on 21-Feb-12
Request for MR, RPRF, PCC, Passports on 5-Mar-12
Medicals sent by DMP on 13-Mar-12
Medicals copy, PCC, Passports, RPRF sent by me on 20-Mar-12
'Medicals Received' line updated on 25-Apr-12
DM updated on 28-Apr-12
Canadian Address updated on 30-Apr-12
Passport at home on 1-May-12

I don't visit the post July, 2011 thread anymore. It used to be very interesting when CIC was moving everyone along at the same pace and treating all applicants fairly. Sometimes I wonder what MI 3, the "so called priority MI", has done to deserve such slow processing treatment from Accra. The 1000/NOC then 500 cap/NOC has no effect on processing time in Accra. Accra must be so laid back. July is just around the corner and who knows what New rules would be released. The minister had already hinted that new rules would be applied to apps domiciled at VO's. I still hold on to the fact that God makes all things beautiful at its time

I know Accra means different thing to different people.An MI1 applicant in Nigeria thread just posted that accra is superfast b/c accra issued many of them MR and updated them IN PROCESS. I guess accra is up to something for all MI3. Omoba7 has been a big source of encouragement for me but of resent your courage seems to be weaning.Pls let keep hope alife.Our time has come.

Hi Temi, thanks for the post, I'm okay.
I have my mind set for June ending, then the table shall turn. I pray that all the MI3 make it before Accra starts receiving MI5 applications from CIC. We don't want to become the new backlog. Let's just keep praying that we all receive our MR asap.

Omo naija, Accra has a mind of its own. MI3 means nothing to them. LOL

Hahahaha...I wanted to read the whole thread before commenting but just couldn't help it! Yes,Accra indeed has a mind of it's own when it comes to MI3. While some MI3 applicants in ND and other VOs have actually gotten their visa by now, Accra has not as much looked in the direction of any of you (maybe the lucky ones are not in this forum).
One thing is for sure though, they are trying to finish off the MI 1s by June but the million dollar question is 'what next?'
Are they going to jump on to MI 2 or 3? If MI 3, what is the basis cos both MIs have the same NOCs and it wouldn't make sense. Or will they be dancing to the 'application are reviewed in the order in which they were received' tune?
Or perhaps they will prioritize the NOCs, and process these NOCs in both 2 and 3. This is my hunch.
What is worrying however is the MI5 which will be descending on us come July.
We can only do one thing-PRAY!!!!
Accra is very unpredictable!
