Is it free to use CAIPS through my agent? I am wondering how you guys knew when your application was transferred to Accra. My profile on Ecas was updated last in 03/06/2012 with In- Process since last year. As I mentioned earlier application was submitted in July last year. What is your take?

I suppose if your agent is based in Canada, he can order it for you. But as to if it will be free, I dont know. When our file gets transferred to VO, it reflects onn ecas as 'Received by Visa Office'. Applicants after July however go straight to 'In Process' from 'Application Received'.

I think it is too early to order CAIPS, as there might be no activity reflected on it. My take, let see what June brings. We may never have a cause to order it after all....Accra might just surprise as all..
