August or September 4, 2014 Applicants , who haven't received MR yet

exactly,,,

i called but none of the agents was ready to confirm if there is a second review on my application. they just kept saying under process. two of the agents informed that file was sent for review on 29th January.

but again, we have to accept the fact that not all applicants are on this forum.

I find GCMS notes more reliable than call centre agents. If Notes sessions say: review required, you are on second review then.. that's all..
I am not even sure call center agents know the meaning of "second review", as forum readers/writers do! I have never been told that I was on second review, as my file was sent for review on 28th January but I did not receive MR or any other document request.. so, only GCMS notes might tell the truth..

Me too. I am getting worried to be honest. I moved out of Canada because my work permit was about to expire. I did not know about the Implied status thing. Now I am worried that my case will get delayed even further.

Its been exactly one month since I ordered GCMS notes. I should get it in the next couple of days I guess. Hopefully I will find out more about my case.

This is helpful. Thanks so much for taking the trouble to post this info here. I now have some hope that Sep 1 - 14 applicants are not left in dark. Fingers crossed for all of us.

Me and 2 of my other friends applied on Sep 4, we are the only ones left for MR. My other friends who applied a week after us, already done with MR.

I got the "Ready for Visa" email! Shocked

I am very surprised because 1) I have not heard from CIC since the AoR, and 2) I did upfront medicals before sending my application (back in 2014) so I was expecting MR first (although I recently did another medicals for the BOWP application - so I guess probably that was linked to my file too).

And of course I had paid upfront RPRF.

Anyway I hope all applicants who are still waiting receive very soon good news. I do know how frustrating is to wait and wait and see other people receiving updates.

Yes, I believe more people who have not received MR/news will start to receive updates. Even if some of you went to second review, I think it is going to be very fast.
