I called CIC yesterday, the lady puts me hold for 20 mins, came back and said, its still under processing.

Do you graduated from Canada University ?

I called today again, they told me to call in Sept 2016.

On Monday, the agent didn't even ask for my UCI #, she just said called back after 21 months from the date of filing.

mid-august applicant, have not heard back anything since aor. call center agents were not helpful at all.

just applied for gcms notes a minute ago, but it will take a month to get the results.

arghhh,,,, wish at least one process was quick with them.

I found out that my file has been preliminary reviewed on Feb 3 and and sent out for a secondary review for March 4.

My local MP contacted CIC and found that out.
No, I do not know the reason yet but I have ordered GCSM notes and will know it in two weeks or so.

As I have seen from my GCMS notes and also from what people say on the forum, CIC performed primary eligibility check for late August applicants around 20-30 January 2016 and the ppl who did not get MR in January are probably in second review, this also applies to early September applicants. Even though the due date for my second review date has already passed (it was 27th February), I think as they do not prioritize second reviews, God knows when we would be contacted.
The good news: once you receive MR, whole the rest does only take 1 month more..

I am not sure if the secondary review date (March 4) has any significance. My case was sent for second review (CEC OFF REV) 01/23 and Due Date was 02/04. But no update till now.

So my guess is your guess.

I do not get this how can every1 between 1 sept- 14 sept be under second review. As i only do not see progress for people who applied in 1st week..

Please go and check Topic: Post only MR, RPRF, PPR updates - Aug/Sept/Oct Applicants to see the ppl who got MR among early September applicants.

i called but none of the agents was ready to confirm if there is a second review on my application. they just kept saying under process. two of the agents informed that file was sent for review on 29th January.

but again, we have to accept the fact that not all applicants are on this forum.

Hi Guys. Sep 11 applicant here. I paid RPRF upfront and did my medicals upfront. No news from CIC yet. While I am happy to see later Sep and Oct applicants getting DM and PPR, it is disheartening to see Sep 1 to Sep 14 applicants not hearing a word from CIC.
