My AOR is 13th August and MEP/IP1 Sept 1. It’s been 72 days since AOR and 53 days since IP1. When I called the cic agent, she said your eligibility has not been passed yet. CPC is Ottawa and background check has also not been started. I am worried why eligibility is taking so long.

53 days it's really extremely short!
Normally the express entry take 180 days, but you can order GCMS note and check if you are under "security screening" in that case it will take more 6 month and up to 2 years.

Medical Cleared on 25 Aug 18.
worried as in between "Review of additional documents" status was
"We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details".
but currently, it is: "Not applicable."
no message or any further information received.
Current Background check status: " Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
I assume it is IP1.
Can anyone help me with this?

I believe that your file would go into the IP2 stage where it'd show that you have passed the medical exam and that your background check is in process.
Please, be advised that if they require more documents, you'd get the message in your account asking for more documents.

Did you received a ghost updated before you get the ppr?
I'm in ip2 since 19 aug and i didn't get any ghost update.
Ghost updated it's when you receive an email from cic saying that your profile was updated but there is nothing there.

since then the status has not changed
Current status: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"
There is a timeline above the 'Application Status' which states:
"Estimated remaining processing time: 9 week(s)"
"Estimated completion date: February 20th, 2019"
Can someone tell me, do I have to wait till February ? OR the passport request might show up early ? It has already been more than 120days from AOR. Every day has been pushing my limits of being patient.
