My background was completed today! I guess the fingerprints got there super quick! I took them the day after the request (Oct 25th), and this morning the background was completed (dated Nov 6th). Very very happy! I was expecting it to take a month, but apparently I've got a good officer looking at my file lol

keep your faith, it can be done
Once you get the email, do them quickly so you don't get delayed

There are several who completed background in beginning of Oct with no test invite yet
you can call and ask but they will tell you it is within the processing time

Quick question guys - I had come to Canada in Oct 2021. Now that I have completed the 1095 days, I intend to apply for citizenship. In the application package under the document list there is a checkbox for PCC which says "You must provide a police certificate for each country or territory where you have been present for 183 days or more in a row (since the age of 18) for the 4 years immediately before the date of your application". What does this mean in context of coming to Canada as a PR in Oct 2021, but there is a period of 183 days or more outside Canada in the prior 4 years ie Nov 2020 to Oct 2021? Would I still need a PCC?

If that's the country you lived in before coming to Canada you don't need PCC.
