A friend of mine who's attending the Oath today said he's got a GU today we well, even though his process has nothing to progress at this point. It's not a valid GU.

Same here, everything is completed, just the oath ceremony left. I got a ghost update today, hopefully letter will follow soon. Keep us posted, I will do the same

Even I have not received the test invite and background completion is same as yours. I see people getting test invite within a week of BG completion. Not sure whats happening

I am getting test invite yesterday. Test window 10-30 - 11-19, hope you get yours soon!

one more comment on this morning's ghost update...

It is interesting/odd that so many people got the GU today. Probably a system-wide thing. But something else that I noticed. This morning I checked the tracker around 5.30a and there was no update. No GU. Now, the tracker batch updates around 5a eastern time. But then, I checked the tracker again this morning around 7.30a and there was the GU!

Just another twist to this morning's GU saga lol

It could be that the updates changes are scheduled in -5:00 Timezone mostly East coast in software context.

My wife and I applied as a family of two.
She got BC greened a week ago.
Mine is not moving.
Why is that?

The same happened to me. My husband changed to green, and mine took ten days after that until they requested my fingerprints.

This is the exact update time. I don't think it was scheduled. assuming they scheduled the update to some proper time like 12pm and not 12:24. assuming it won't take 24 minutes to update all cases, I think it wasn't scheduled.

My test was completed after 2-3 days of taking exam. Yes ever since oct 6 updates to complete testing and finger prints submitted in rcmp last oct 5. My file was dormant state.
Today Oct 27 got a ghost update. I live in BC and i am assuming my file is also in vancouver office.

During my express entry application processing, every one received similar ghost update. Unfortunately, It does not mean anything to the applicants. It's most probably a system wide software glitch.
