The Paper applicants got their AOR's roughly 15-20 days after application received. The online ones seem to be getting it around 35 days or so on average (for August). Judging by posts here. And everyone generally gets access to the tracker after 2-3 business days after AOR.

Hey Folks, is there a way to attend the Oath Ceremony and get the Canadian passport outside of Canada? My employer has been asking me to relocate to the USA but I've been pushing back to complete the citizenship process. I don't think it is possible but want to check with the experienced folks in this forum

Canadian passport outside Canada is very much possible. Can't you manage to come for oath whenever it is scheduled?

Can you please detail how the process of getting Canadian passport from the USA look like? I can definitely come to Canada for oath ceremony but my concern is with the remaining process shared below. My US Work visa will be stamped on my current Indian passport so for me the overall process will be this:

1. Attend Oath Ceremony (in Canada)
2. Apply for Canadian Passport (in Canada)
3. Receive Canadian passport (in Canada)
4. Surrender/Cancel Indian passport (in Canada)
5. Receive the Cancelled Indian passport (in Canada)
6. Use the existing US visa stamp on cancelled Indian passport and the new Canadian passport to travel to the US

This process could take months and hence my concerns. If there is a way to complete step 2 in Canada and remaining steps (2 - 5) in US that works best for me.
