Hello everyone, and happy new year! I feel there is something wrong with my application. "Background completed" was November 24th, but application is still in progress, and I heard nothing else since then. I thought that I should get the test invite a few days after the "background completed update", and I also thought that "in process" should happen before the background is completed.

My assumption is since you are asking in the Aug thread, you applied in Aug. and that means you are WAY in the timeline of the current processing time.

Do not use other people on this forum experience and think that you will get a test to invite after BG check in a month of less etc, IRCC processing files how they process them, and you can get a test to invite 1 day after BG or 6 months or 12 months unless your application has passed 24 months, there is nothing you can do, or should expect.

Both are in the AOR. The tracker also requires e-mail and the confirmation code goes to that e-mail. Unless there is another way to log in?

I am from Ottawa and have heard for Ottawa its anywhere between 3-4 months or more to get test invite.

You can call them to check if your office is Ottawa indeed since I know people from Ottawa but they file was moved to other locations.

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can advise about what's going on.
So here's the thing I took my test from outside Canada. And recently I got a request to provide my passport pages, which I already did with my application. I know some other people got the same request too BUT is it coz I was travelling and they need my passport pages with new stamps? Or should I just send them the copy I sent them originally?

In order for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to continue the process of your
citizenship application, scanned copies or photos of all passport(s) and travel document(s) pages held
during your five (5) years eligibility period are required.

I took my test the 29th, had an update today but that update didn't clear the test, but instead it added a new invite for the test... in January 2022 lol, no idea what's going on there

As you gave the test outside Canada, send the latest one with the new stamps.

Give one more week, they will verify your test result from there end and then mark it as completed.
