Got my GCMS e-file still at sydney. It seems a pile of backlog has been created at Sydney office or perhaps the local office is not accepting any new applications until they clear the old ones. It also seems they are processing applications of Q1 / 2021 . Testing has only begun for June applicants. Considering the holidays it will be another 3 to 4 months till they reach Aug apps.

Hello ppl,
I know there is no phone number at processing center where we can call and say something. My problem is my application was delivered on August 19, 2021 but there is no AOR yet. I see even many people from September already received AOR, but mine is August and nothing yet.
Any ideas how I can contact with them? The agent on call center said there is no records on my file, means my envelope is not open yet. I worry what if it`s lost or something like that.
Thank you in advance for any news and contacts.

Your only option at this stage is to contact the call center. Every agent is different, there might be agents who would over and above and send an email to the back team. So please keep calling atleast twice a week until you get some credible support.
I know it's frustrating but wishing you good luck.

Hello everyone. I have a quick question on ecas update. What’s the difference between ‘application received’ status and ‘application in process’ and how does this differ from the citizenship application status. I have checked this thread to know if it has been explained earlier, but the explanation I have seen in not clear.
Thanks so much in advance.

DELIVERED
Signed for by: B.EICKSON

I sent my application by FedEx as well and it was signed by the exact same person. Got my AOR on Nov 10th and the delivery date was Aug 24th. So in terms of your application getting lost, I would say you got nothing to worry about. Maybe it's just taking a little longer for them to process it.
