Hey everyone, I received the AOR today for my online application...

Now that the AOR is received I wanted to get people's opinion on whether I should submit a webform to provide the colour passport copies? For most online applicants, they haven't submitted this as part of the online application. Some online applicants attached the colour passport copy under the "other" section so obviously they don't have to worry about this.

I was thiking to send this text ... "I have recently submitted my online citizenship application. I uploaded my bio passport page as per the online application instructions. However I noticed recently that under the new guidelines there is a need to provide a full colour copy of the passport. I am therefore providing my full colour passport copy in this webform in case you may need it as part of processing my application"

Any thoughts?

What was the reply you got from them in AOR ? Is your app showing in process ?

i received a PDF showing the application # and standard lingo....i havent checked the application status yet, I heard usually we need to wait 24 hrs before u can check

I dont think you require to send the complete color copy right now. Let them ask for it then send it over..

Thanks Abbas but i was thinking this could add weeks to the processing time unnecessarily if they ask for it in the future. It wouldn’t hurt if I supply it now?

No I dont think so, you have followed the process and since online applicant were only required to upload bio pages of their passport I do not think it will have any delays on your application processing...

Even if you send it Via Web form the current lead time to process web form is around 30 days.
I would wait for the request
