August 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

Currently March online applications are being processedband have started getting AORs. Online has picked up quite a bit in the last month. Not sure when the AOR will come for August online applications but I am hoping the pace continues and online applications are processed at the same rate if not faster than paper.
I personally don't believe that online will be longer. All depends on the office, the profile and covid situation.
I anticipate initial AORs to start coming from November, but fingers crossed.
It's advised to keep writing to your local MP and everyone does this it will surely create a huge push. Remember you are future vote for the same MPs.
Please advice me on below:
- Myself, Wife, Daughter 18 years and Daughter 13 years (Today date) got migrated to canada on 07-07-2015. We all came back to Oman after 2 months
- On 05th May 2018, we again went after nearly 3 years. My wife and daughters are staying there since then (except 2 months visit to Oman) and completed their 3 years of stay in last 5 years on 15th July 2021.
- I came back in July 2018 and renounce my PR in Dec 2020
- Their PR card was renewed in Sep 2020 for next 5 years.
- As of today from the date of landing in canada, they have finished 6 years. Citizenship form says to provide data for last 5 years only. Shall i start for 2015 or 2016.
- All their passports were channged after landing to canada 2 times. Shall i also add photocopy of passport in application form, with which landing was done
- All the entery exit stamps are in dual language (Arabic and English), Do i need to translate that also
- My younger Daughter birth certificate is in Arabic/ English. Do i need to translate that
- In the last 4 years, my family was out of Canada for more than 183 days. I require PCC from Oman for them, which I have taken. It is again in Arabic and English. DO i need to translate that
- I am planning to apply offline for them. Do we need to send original PCC or colour photocopy with application form
- My wife has not filed Income tax returns for 2015, 2016 and 2017as she was not in Canada and not working also. But she filed income tax returns for 2018, 2019 and 2020. Do i need to file returns for 2015, 2016 and 2017 for my wife before filing citizenship papers.
- My younger daugher citizenship application will be filled with my wife application as she 13 years old. Do My wife needs to fill representative form.

Then use the physical prescience calculator to determine if you fulfill the residency obligation as a PR (only required to be completed for 18 and above)

Regarding the translation as long as info (DoB, City, Parents names)is in English alongside Arabic it will be OK.
Oman visas are usually are in dual languages so it should be fine without translations
Mostly likely you will need to apply for paper based application at least for the wife and younger child, might as well do the same for your elder one too whose application will be separate since she will be treated as an adult

Just confirming, online applicants still submitting bio page of passports only as per instructions in online portal ?
For paper, instructions were changed already in mid june, just confirming how online applicants handling this part ?

I only submitted the bio page. Tbh I didn’t even realize all passport pages are required for paper applications. I guess at some point they will ask us to upload all passport pages if required.
I have only submitted bio pages under passport section. However, I have also attached a PDF containing scans of all pages of my latest passport, under additional documents section. I don't think that was necessary, but did it anyway to err on a cautious side.
I don't think they would return the application as incomplete, as the online application nowhere asked for a full passport.
Perhaps senior members of this forum could please provide more insights?
I am not a senior member of this forum but here's my two cents anyway: I don't think a full passport is necessary for online applications and they never asked for it anyway. But since they gave an option to attach additional documents, I uploaded a full copy there. Sometimes when they want to check all visa stamps or other entry exit details on the passport, they want to look at all pages. Again, nothing to be alarmed in my view.
It might be the case unfortunately that the application will be considered incomplete
What I can suggest you to do is to send the complete passport copy with all pages via the web form so it cab ve forwarded to relevant officer https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
