Hi All,

I didnt receive any email alert but tracker updated on Nov 3rd saying 'you are scheduled to attend Citizenship ceremony on Nov 3rd'. I am confused its updated on same day without any email but Ceremony status is showing in progress. Can someone please confirm if its normal or need to do anything.

Happened to me and some others on the forum too, your best option is to call IRCC and they will inform you the ceremony date

Today there was some update , not on the tracker but I got an email where I have been asked to attend for an in-person interview at Mississauga office.
Could anyone share their experience with the interview ? Little nervous!

We might all be waiting for Godot.

Today marks the 6th month since a decision was made on my file. After multiple webforms, e-mails, GCMS requests, phone calls, and letters to my MP, I have seen zero movement on my file. The folks at the Vancouver office simply do not care. The IRCC has already received their money, and there are zero consequences for their negligence

I can feel you my friend, it is exhausting to check and check our tracker 3-5 times a day or more for me. I did the same thing. I decided to go to Bangkok and took 6 months vacations to clear up my mind and anxiety though. I quit my job and travelled. This process took my whole patience and causes me anxiety. Again, our "biggest" dream is in IRCC hands and there's nothing that can make them work accordingly. soon, it will be over for you too. Always remember that all the wait you are doing, it's all worth it. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Got email for interview at Scarborough Location after few questions they asked me if i wanna take OATH today.
Took OATH and received my ceritificate on the spot.
Took Almost 3 years but finally received my certificate.
Goodluck Everyone.
Your time will come.
Now i gotta figure out how to apply for passport

Interesting experience while going for the oath interview in person (Scarborough office) ! We were around 20 people for the oath interview scheduled on 2nd Aug. immigration Officers are asking some basic stuff during the interview, like if you travelled a lot during last couple years or stayed out of Canada for longer time so just the reason for it but once you go through these question, they are asking if you have no travel plan coming up than can you attend oath ceremony right away. So apparently, most of the applicants are offered oath right away after the interview. Unfortunately I couldn’t get as my background check expired in May this year, so I have to go for fingerprint once again.
But if you guys are going for oath interview IN PERSON than don’t be worried and don’t choose virtual one, as it might just turn into your lucky day !

Came to Scarborough office for interview 5 mins ago very short interview of 3 questions now waiting to get my citizenship done right now #canadiancitizen journey over for me applied February 2021 Scarborough office Alhumdolillah

Yes friend, many of us are having similar timeline. my guess is that you will receive Interview invitation soon to verify your identity with an IRCC official. Hang on there, it will be over soon. Or you can try to email your processing office about your application, hoping they will look at your file when you email them. Take care!

Hi everyone, I got an update on the tracker that I am scheduled for Oath Ceremony on Nov 22 and that they have sent me details on ceremony and everything by email. Problem is, I still haven't received the any details by email, moreover, I didn't even get an email on update on tracker. Anybody in the same boat? I also sent them a webform query, no response yet. What should be my next steps? how to even find what office my application is being processed, so I can send them an email? I applied from Toronto, Online application, if that helps.

So I got an email for in- person interview from Scarborough IRCC email address, but my interview is in Mississauga, probably as my address is for MIssissauga. Either way I hope and pray they invite after the interview for taking oath.
