Yours is not worse than mine. You had everything updated on June 13 and oath invite on Aug 22. That's just 2 months. Mine will be 3 months next week

Well my overall timeline is worse. I'm a June 2021 applicant but have to come to the August and September 2021 threads to find more people at around the same stage as me :D Almost 15 months from submission to oath, and will be at least 15 months by the time I receive the certificate. Don't worry, your oath is around the corner!

How do we know if the citizenship certificate is dispatched?

I'm wondering that as well and think it depends on the office. Seems that usually the certificate is sent around or shortly after the date your application is closed in the tracker, but I've seen a few instances of people in the slower offices, like Montreal or SK/MB, wait a few weeks after their applications had been closed.

Congrats. Do you have a travel planned soon? Just asking because its says online that proof of travel is required below 45 days.

Unless calling IRCC, there is no way to know when the certificate is sent in the mail. It is however AFTER the application is closed.

People who reached the call center got the same reply '4 to 8 weeks' as is written on their webpage as well as the pdf sent with the oath invitation.

Don't know if you check the google sheet for 2022 appliquants, the admin added new columns for fingerprints request, background check, etc. That can give people more insight into the delays between every stage of the application in general.

The only thing missing really is the date we receive the citizenship certificate.

have a look here

BTW, they are getting AOR within days of their application received. It's crazy compared to previous applicants like us.

Hopefully, it means they are streamlining their processes and ways of working.

Oath ceremony done on September 13th Calgary, “closed” on online tracker - September 21.
Still waiting for certificates.
