My Oath is scheduled for Thursday August 18th and I haven’t received the instructions email yet. So I called IRCC yesterday by 3:30pm and spoke with an agent. First, She confirmed the scheduled Oath Date (August 18th) then she said that the email can be sent out up to 2 days prior to the Citizenship Ceremony. She urge me to call them back if I don’t receive it by Next Tuesday August 9th.

Which number are you calling and which option have you selected? I tried calling it says we cant connect you with agent at the moment.

I just logged in on the new tracker and everything is marked as completed on June 20 except the citizen ceremony says "not started". The old ECAS says "decision made".
Please update the tracker.

I just logged in and saw the Citizenship Ceremony Update on August 9th! The oath is on September 28th, I have not received the email with instructions yet.

Timeline in signature. Please update the tracker.

Guys/Girls, I finally got my oath ceremony for the 1st of Sept. However, I have a trip booked for 28th Sept. To come back to Canada I believe I would need the citizenship cert. But do we know how long it takes to get the cert? If it doesn't come on time what else can I do to enter Canada? At the oath ceremony, they make you snap up the PR card. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

During the oath, they usually ask you if you have any travel plans in the coming days before cutting your PR card. However, I don't know what is the process.

No option to enter Canada without atleast certificate. Better take the certificate and leave. it takes around 3 weeks for the certificate to arrive.

Thanks, I will go to the border and ask. Surely, has to be a way to enter Canada I don't think that option of not entering is one. I have a UK passport, so i don't even need a visa to enter Canada. I don't think it applies to us
