Hi Guys, submitted my and my wife's application online on 08-Aug-2021, separately. Both got AOR on Nov-15-2021. Her file moved thankfully and she is done with test a month back. I am still waiting for a background check to complete.

Do you know if anything will help? Have applied for GCMS notes and even written to the local MP, but yet to hear back on both ends. PR card about to expire in August. Should I renew it?

Unless it's more than 12 months passed contacting mp wont help. Yes renew pr card .

It takes anywhere between 1-3 weeks.
Can you please share your timeline and background verification process ?

I passed my citizenship test on May 5, and my wife on May 8.
Why it dosen't show on tracker "complited"?
It shows "citizenship test - in progress".

Will wait for official results. I am worried about the clarity of the Photo ID though. I tried several times to make sure the information is readable but the cam quality of the laptop I used is just not that good Does anyone have any experience regarding this? Were you asked to resubmit photo ID or even retake test? thank you!

What is the average wait time for the tracker to update (e.g., West)? Does it depend on the processing office? Hopefully they accept my ID and my exam as valid.

Don't worry about it too much. My ID photo was also blurry, but text was legible. Test validated without any issues.

I am June applicant and my timeline is also the same like yours.

I gave FP on March 14 and as per IRCC call centre, results were received on April 8, and i had 2 ghost updates on April 11 and April 26 but no actual progress on tracker. I called IRCC call centre 2 times in between and both times they told me criminality and citizenship test is passed and security is going on.

I don't know how long CSIS needs, its veen almost one month as of today and 2 ghist updates in between and still patience game is on.

In between, i have requested GCMS notes from IRCC, CSIS & CBSA. Applied for all 3 as i am curious to know what notes look like. Waiting for notes too. Heard in background checks after criminality, IRCC wait for clearance from CSIS and CBSA, thats why applied for notes from those 2 departments too.

I received my GCMS notes today from IRCC, same status as phone call centre guys gave me, its under security clearance status.

Current step in progress is Eligibility - Residence. I don't know if this step is called as security clearance step ? or this is something on new tracker called as Physical Presence ?
