Are your languages, prohibitions and physical presence completed?
No still in progress, my wife BGC completed in Dec, haven't yet received test invite!

Background check completed on on December 8 2021.... still no Test invite....not sure what to do and how to reach IRCC
My wife have the same day status, I'm guessing nothing much could be done except waiting!

I wouldn't call it hard, but one should read Discover Canada in its entirety.
The way I did it.. I read the whole book once (over a period of 5-6 days), highlighted things I considered important and then re-read that part (within a day), took the exam after second reading. I was able to score 20.

@sundeep_s_ shared a post sometime back with a link to different websites: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...nship-applicants.740188/page-87#post-10008132
I only used hicanadatest and yourlibrary.ca to do some practice questions but apart from giving me the confidence (which was definitely helpful), I don't remember seeing a lot of questions from those tests though. I didn't pay a dime for any of the practice material, I don't think it's really required.
In the end I would just say read the book, be calm and just go for it!

Thanks for providing the details.

Every person might be different, some people read the book and remember stuff and some like me might not remember stuff easily :p
But I will keep trying.

I passed my test online today. Unfortunately, I had the PDF with the test information/instructions open, which I forgot to close before I started the actual test...so now I'm worried I might get disqualified :(

I read somewhere else though that if they detect something they will give you a pop up or something saying to close all other tabs/windows. I didn't see anything like that come up, so I'm hoping things will be okay. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens but for now I have a preliminary pass on the test.

Reminder: make sure you close everything after you submit your information and take your photos!

Done with the test 19/20. it was ok. 3 -4 questions were tricky. 1 with names. 2 with dates I guess

They said you should close all the programs that require camera, like screen sharing apps. and if you haven't changed the tabs or haven't tried to open the pdf then you will be good. I had a problem that I could not see my face in the green circle so I had to click my picture by guess and it was ok when they showed me the picture. so I moved with that.

email gmail tab was open where I got the email to click on the link as I needed to see the information - application number and uci. I dont close that tab. I dont think that will be a problem.

Thanks! I agree, I think it will be fine because I only stayed on the test and never clicked outside of that.

I would say if you are prepared well then test is easy. To feel prepared, first thing is to read Discover Canada entirely and highlight what you think is important. After reading, do practice tests in apnatoronto, Richmond library and 414 Questions on Youtube. Surprisingly, when you read the book again at the end you will realize that you actually covered almost all the questions.
All the best!

I think it might be a bit early to see DMs (we just started getting through tests these days)
My case actually moved a bit after taking test. They marked my language requirement as completed, but got an email from CIC to send police clearance cert from India within 30 days. I already sent them one along with the application. Requesting another one will take months. I sent a copy of the same one i sent them by email. Hopefully that'll be sufficient.

Anyone else has similar experience?
