Hello Friends,
I applied for my Canadian passport (express) yesterday and feel great as will receive it by this Friday.

THANK YOU ALL for supporting each other and helping by answering the questions. This forum was huge support for me.

I know eventually, everyone will get to the end goal but the timeline might be different. Good luck.

A quick snapshot of my timeline after the test:

The test appeared: on Feb 28
Test completed: March 1
Decision made: May 17
Oath invite: May 19
Oath completed: June 14
Certificate received: June 21
Passport applied: June 21

People who think the passport application process is crazy these days to our surprise it wasn’t that crazy. We did walk-in application and where out within 3:30mins. The officers are working overtime to help the citizens. Kudos to them. Location: Toronto

Oath done on 1 June, Certificate received on 13 June.

Yes, print out of my itinerary plus $50 extra for express.

Me. Test completed on Feb 19th. BGC still in progress. Same Scarborough office. From GCMS notes, criminally check completed, security check pending since January.

no update since Decision Made on ECAS notes in early May. Sent webform and contacted the MP. No luck

Completed oath yesterday, June 16th.

Tracker marked Application Closed today, June 17th.

Citizenship certificate received: 21st June (3 business days later, quite fast!)

(requested for expexdited due to upcoming travel in July - had proof of travel but was told they can't do expedited since mine is not an urgent processing app, however will make "best efforts" to ship via regular mail asap....and they did it

Applying for passport now with my flight and hotel bookings as travel proof.
