Is anyone in a similar situation? Got AOR back in February, did biometrics in February as well, got sponsor approval and got my CSQ more than a month ago, but still no medical request...

I have moved recently in the time that I've submitted my application and want to change my address of correspondence. Should I wait until the Visa office requests my PPR or should I use a webform for a change of address?

I could change my address via web form, it took a month to be updated tho.

Is the government even approving any applications right now due to increased travel restrictions? My spouse is in the US. We thought it would be so easy to move from US to Canada but it's been so long. Our app was received in July 2020, we submitted biometrics in January 2021 and since then heard nothing.

They are approving, some people are getting DM and PPR request, but they seem to be given out in batches. I don't think US makes it any easier than for any other country to get approval. Many who applied between March 2020 and November 2020 seems to have delays and is waiting, some got lucky, but that's not the rule.

Its been total silence on our application for 2 months now as well. There's just no point in trying to make sense of IRCC's process.

After 271 days (8.9 months) since application received (August 7, 2020) I received an application number in form of a biometrics request! (No AOR1 or SA yet) I had to re-add my name to the tracking spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...TORYKQf0BMquSXNw0RvmqvZNU/edit#gid=1559828102 since it had been deleted! Really spreadsheet guys??- probably for lack of progress... Very happy to learn my application hasn't been lost. Long road ahead still... But I am so happy today to have a glimmer of progress. Thank you for this forum and especially the tracking spreadsheet for keeping me somewhat sane for nearly 9 months of silence.

Since you got the BIL with the app number you can consider that you have AOR even though you didn't specifically receive the AOR letter.

Hi all - to give hope to those still waiting on AOR1 - we submitted our application on August 14, 2020 - after literally no contact since then, we received a police certificate request about a week ago, followed by AOR1 and SA two-three days later. All via email.
