Is there a need to inform IRCC via webform if a sponsor is planning for a visit of 2 weeks? If you are PR you can only visit for 2-3 weeks maximum and then you have to return. You can stay outside of Canada otherwise application will be refused.

They have access to flight manifests and border entries (and exits through USA and/or flight manifests).how they will know if i am in canada or in india?
Lucky its been 4 months and I have nothing yet. Just got a temporary file number since I called them but dont think I can do anything with that.....Hi All,

Let me give you my case. I sent my application on 7th August, flew to India on 8th August and came back to Canada on 26th September. My application is going smooth as of now. i didnt inform anyone that i am going to india.someone please help me!
I applied spouse visa for my wife. My wife is in India and I am in Canada.
Now I am missing her too much,!! So I want to know if I can go back to india while I wait for the decision on my wife's file?
Even though Canada has no outbound immigration screening, they know everybody who leaves the country, every person leaving is screened by the airlines manifests all the time which goes into the immigration data base. This is how they catch people on no fly lists. Big brother is always watching.how they will know if i am in canada or in india?
You cannot sponser your husband from india if you are a PR. You can sponser your husband from inside canada whenever you want. There is no problem to stay outside canada before the sponsership application is put up. But you must have to be in canada for minimum 2 years(730 days in total) out of 5 years to renew your PR statusHello Friends
I am canada PR and came to india for wedding and right now i am in india and will be staying here until January end.
My question is can i still send the Outland sponsorship for my husband while am still in India untill January end ?

I completely agree. It is as simple as being able to prove active status within Canada - which can be done through paying rents, bills, salary slips. It is only logical that if you leave Canada for a long time, you will most probably have none of those as proof ( unless you are very rich and can pay for an empty apartment ). There is no specific number of days mentioned anywhere.I really don't understand where people get their numbers from. It really boggles my mind.
No information is better than wrong information
Have you receive your AOR yet? Mine is same as yours but my delivery date is Sep 15Starting new forum for Outland Spousal sponsorship application sent in August, 2020.
I Posted my application from Vancouver via Xpressspost on August 4, 2020 and was delivered in Sydney, NS office on August 12, 2020 .
I’m in the same boat. I thought they prioritized spouse sponsorship. We're about to send in our application in the next two weeks.
Judging by the situation, and to keep expectations realistic, hubby and I are looking at 6 months to get AOR1, then another 8 months in process etc etc if we're lucky, and on top of that another 3 months for COPR & landing etc etc.
Since we've been long distance for essentially our entire relationship, we'll pull through.
Don't lose hope!
