I recieved an email today indicating application profile is updated. After couple of ghost updates I was surprised to see that the update was that of medical exam request for both me and my wife. Our medical status changed form being passed to "We have requested a medical exam" .
Along with this we also recieved two IMM 1017E form. MedicalReport - SectionA Client Identification and Summary.
Has anyone else gone through a similar situation here ? If medical tests are valid for one year then we have ours valid till June of 2021. I was surprised to see both of us getting this request now after having our meds passed before.
Please let me know what you think @legalfalcon @caipsnotes
Oh I see. Did you retake the Med Test and submit again ? Ddi you check with your medical centre ?I had same experience. My meds were valid til march 2021, but i got re-medical request in dec 2020. Looks lik they r asking for re-medicals 2-3 months prior to expiry date
So glad to hear this,I am Aor August 31st too.Hope we get it soon all the best!Hi everyone,
Called IRCC this morning. Agent told me that all stages are passed, waiting for the final decision to be made. I hope it won't take too much time for them to make it, but who knows...Anyway, i guess it's a big step forward.

The medicals have to be valid when you apply and when you land. If you are unable to land before the medicals expire, IRCC will either ask for re-meds or extend your medicals.I recieved an email today indicating application profile is updated. You actually got the docs? I wonder why some gets docs immediately and some don’t. Thankfully we have approval but we need docs to actually get settled. Every agent is working differently. I wonder why the inconsistency. Anyone got approval and no docs yet?!Hello Everyone,
Super excited to announce that myself and my wife got CoPR today.

Note: We have never applied for any GCMS notes, but used to call the helpline at least once every month (after medicals passed update). And, we still haven't received our Biometrics refund yet.
It was a super long wait for us and many thanks to this forum for the much needed moral support. I wish best of luck to everyone waiting and really hope you guys get your CoPR sooner.
@legalfalcon We were given 30 days to submit the medicalTest, April 22 2021, whihc is still 2 months before the current medical tests expiry date. The medicals have to be valid when you apply and when you land. If you are unable to land before the medicals expire, IRCC will either ask for re-meds or extend your medicals.
Given that you medials are valid until June 2021, it seems unlikely that you will be able to land before this time.
I got my approval on March 16th in the portal but no COPR documents. Lets hope we get it soon, I heard it takes 1-2 weeks for the document. You actually got the docs? I wonder why some gets docs immediately and some don’t. Thankfully we have approval but we need docs to actually get settled. Every agent is working differently. I wonder why the inconsistency.
