What is Biometric "exemption"? Also, did you just call IRCC to ask about your cases status, you can do that? is it different from GCMS notes that people pay for?

Similar to my case/timeline other than I am an offshore CEC applicant I have one more dependent (my little one). My BIL was done last year when I worked in Canada on a closed work permit (LMIA), Please share any updates!

Did you have to inform IRCC that BIL was done last year for WP/LMIA or they knew automatically?

BIL: Letter arrived but cannot give biometrics as all VACs are closed.

My question is, my three years work ex was completed on 1st August but since they round up the work ex by Month and year, would it be a problem that I accepted an ITA which was issued to me on July 8th?
On July 8th technically I was 22 days short of my 3 years work ex, but on the date of AOR, I had 3 years and 11 days work ex total.
Is it a problem or everything is fine ?

They said that my eligibility is passed, criminality is in progress, and security hasn't started.
By eligibility being passed, should I be relieved that my earlier concern pertaining to my work ex has now been resolved?
Also, I haven't been able to give my biometrics to IRCC since the VACs in my country are still not taking biometric appointments.
Is that why my application is going so slow?
What are the timelines I should be expecting?

Sorry, Let me correct myself,
I actually called them on Friday at around 3 PM.
However, the helpline page says that yes the number is reachable 24x7

Hey guys, I just checked my profile and observed that a message on the status has changed from it will take some to hear from us................. actions are taken on your file toward ( the end of the scheduled processing time bla.bla..bla (I cannot remember the exact words now) to "Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along".

Please does anybody knows what this means for the progress of my application?

Just a speculation, but I think that might be because the time elapsed(as per the progress bar) has crossed 50% because I have started seeing this message in my account from just a few days back now.

For your reference, my AOR is also 11th August, Medical Passed-27th August, but I have not yet completed my biometrics.

If anybody has more information about this, that would be welcome

Dunno if it means anything specific yet..it could be a automatic change after 50% of the timeline has been completed
