CEC applicants are getting their MEP only after 7-8 weeks these days as per the tracker. I noticed few people with AOR dated 28th July updated their MEP date as 18th Sep. So it's taking time for CEC candidates. This is my second time applying this year, my AOR is August 5, 2020. My initial application was Inland, this time it's Outland.
I have received no updates on my application yet. I'm using the same medical exam results from my previous application, dated November 2019. Will there be an issue when this expires while my application is processing? I would have thought that using the same results from a previous application would speed things up but my current application's medical exam status has not changed since the day I applied.
I'm also worried that I haven't received any BIL yet. On my previous application it took around 3 weeks and it's been over 6 weeks and counting this time around. I heard that they are using biometrics results from previous applications in certain cases. Where can I read more about this? I assume if this was the case, my application would be updated to include the Biometrics Number / Date of the previous one (which is not the case right now).
My Canadian immigration experience has been very frustrating and the lack of transparency in the process does not help. I sincerely hope everyone else has a smoother ride than me, I will be very glad to put this process in the rear-view mirror.
Sorry I have a follow up question:As an applicant It is your responsibility to meet the prerequisites of IRCC for all admissibility factors. If you are aware that your PoF documents do not demonstrate 6 months average balance, then you should submit it proactively as soon as possible via webform instead of waiting for an ADR or PFL.
The documents that you upload via the webform will not be reflected in your MyCIC account. Only document uploaded through the MyCIC account will be seen there.Sorry I have a follow up question:
The documents submitted through webform, should I be expecting seeing them together with other uploaded documents later on, or there is some other way to make sure the they are attached to my account?
Thank you!
You would have to do a new Biometrics for PR. Your temporary visa biometrics can’t be used. You will get BIL, wait for it.ITA - August 5th
AOR- August 14th
Country of residence- Trinidad and Tobago
Good Morning, I received a ghost update. When I checked I realized that the Background Check changed to "we are processing your background check. However, no change has been made to my medicals yet advising if passed.
I did notice though that my biometrics that I did in 2019 for a Temporary Visa has been updated in the Biometrics information under Applicant Information. That is, Biometrics number date and expiry updated.
Does this mean I will not be getting a new BIL and the application went straight to BGS?
Thank you
Yes it looks like that. I had one ghost update and it shows me background check as:Are you in IP1 yet?

Mine, too. I submitted on 01 Aug 2020. I think both of our applications don't differ much given that 01 and 02 Aug were the 2 weekend days.Yes it looks like that. I had one ghost update and it shows me background check as:

No not working. Is the myimmitracker website working for you guy?
I enrolled on 21 Aug 2020. I think nobody can advise us on the PPR timeline. We are almost the first few batches after the reopening of all-program draws. I will order a GCMS note by next month to catch the first glimpse at the status. Are you done with biometrics? Mine got done 20th August.
Do they entertain request for gcms notes within 4 months? I read somewhere that less than 4 months they aren't very helpfulI enrolled on 21 Aug 2020. I think nobody can advise us on the PPR timeline.
