Congratulations! That's awesome! Did you file your application yourself or hired a lawyer or consultant?

We compiled our application and then an immigration lawyer did a review of it prior to submitting it.

I have not yet received anything beyond the interview, so we are still waiting for next steps.

Ok! May I ask who was your lawyer or someone you can recommend?

The lawyer who reviewed our case is Kay Scorer in Vancouver BC.

Thank you. Makes me more depressed when I see some people get everything done so quickly and I am still waiting. Hopefully things start moving quickly for me.

39 Days Remaining, but stuck at the step "File Moved to LVO", after that complete silence. Not even the AoR2. Almost 6 months have been passed since the file moved to LVO. I don't know what is happening and going to be happened with my case. but it's really very painful for me that I am waiting for the next step since last 6 months, and waiting goes on and on and god knows when it will be over. totally Fed up and disappointed with the whole process

Is it normal not to receive AOR2? We have already received Med Req, Bio Req, and Pre-Arr..
Is there a certain order that AOR2 should fall under or should we still expect it? I've heard some applicants say that it wasn't sent yet their app was processed. Is that true?

It’s normal. They don’t always send them out. My husband never got one when ours transferred to Mississauga.

my wife got her passport request on march 11. by time she got new photos the VAC in cairo closed due to COVID. for months the VAC said the are not receiving passports. about a month ago they started saying the embassy issued instruction that of you got the PPR after april 15 you should send the passport. if you received it before april 15 you should wait without any actual date or further clarification how long we should wait.

now I asked around and I cant find a single person who got the passport request from the embassy after march 15. so my theory is they don't want to work and they are just setting a date that applies to exactly zero people.

I sent countless emails contacted my MP and nothing came out except for wait without any date.

so I am thinking of waiting till July 15 and if there is no new instruction ill just send the passport and through the ball in their court maybe it will just go through. any advice or thoughts about what I should do?

I feel your pain, in the same boat as you. We even received a response to a webform stating that our file is "in transit" (this is after being notified in writing from Sydney, NS that our file was transferred to LVO on January 13, 2020.

Our GCMS notes told us nothing other than criminality checks are complete.

We keep waiting. I will update if we hear anything, and I'm sure you will too. It's good to keep track considering our timelines are similar. Take care.
