In regards to medicals.
Question 1: now with AOR arrived can we go and do a medical upfront?
Question 2: I thought medicals will be cancelled because the liberals found them unfair, any input on that?

Quick question regarding proof of relationship for inland application, spouse and I were married a few months ago, we used to live together for more than a year back in London. We just moved to Canada last week.
For things like proof of joint utility accounts (e.g. electricity, gas, telephone, internet), joint credit card accounts, or joint bank accounts
-> we can provide bank statements / utility bills etc from the time we were in London right? Since we just moved here the only thing we have is a rental agreement with our names on it lol
I feel like it should be correct but I'm getting so paranoid now that I'm almost ready to submit!!!!

That's encouraging. Mine was received August 21st so hopefully AOR is a week or two away!

A rental agreement is a good proof of cohabitation. Send as much proof that you have even though they're from the one overseas. You can even use your phone bills/ phone agreement for Canada? As long as you both of the same address here.

1.You can by all means get your medical done upfront although they don't recommend it as it expires after 1 year. I would recommend wait for them to send you a request for it. In the end, its all up to you.

Hey hey!! Once you get your AOR, CIC will request for medical but this can come in a month to a few months so I wouldn't worry too much about that right now. You will get a notification from them when they need it.
As for now, You can link your PR and OWP(if applicable) to your CIC account so that you get the correspondence from there.

Have you tried searching for your app on ECAS? AORs have been slowing down on the last days of August. Give it a few more days, otherwise, contact CIC.
