Apply a regular visitor visa, and when you go through the questions they ask you.. mention that you want to extend your stay.

Where do you find who has signed and received the application? In AOR or you can find before that?

You can find the tracking information and who signed for the package usually on the website of the postal service/courier service you used for example canadapost.ca or ups.ca. It's literally just the person at the office who is handed the package, unfortunately nothing to do with CIC looking at the contents or AOR.

Good luck to you!! I may have screwed up with my OWP receipts as well. 1. I did not pay for it separately! I have it on the same receipt as the PR receipt. and 2. I only paid for the Work Permit Fee and didn't pay the Holder fee! So I had to send that $100 receipt via webform (which they said they've received). So it's a hit or miss for me!! Guess I'll find out soon when I get the AOR email or if I have a package in my mailbox
Praying for the best outcome though!

Based on the spreadsheet, I should be getting a response by the end of this week or next week.

just a quick question I have here. I would really appreciate your help and response on it.

I recently submitted my spouse PR and OWP application on Sep16th and was delivered on sep 17th.

will I be able to renew my wife health card with the AOR once recieved.? cuz on OHIP it says you need to be approved in principal so is the AOR the same as approved in principal.?

They received mine on August 13th, so also any day now

Anyways, someone is trying to find out if AOR is enough to be eligible for health care. But to answer your question. AOR is not the same as AIP.

Hi @Netz I called ServiceCanada this morning and the guy told me that you need COPR in order to be eligible, AOR doesn't count unfortunately.

I just got my AOR today too and of course it’s the day when I’m not hopelessly waiting in front of my computer. I’m out of town with my family not even thinking about it. But yay! More reason to celebrate
