Hi

I applied for an extension on the July 29th as my status was due to expire on September 2nd. When I applied for the extension the processing time was at around 46 days but I’ve been checking on the website regularly and the processing time keeps going up every week (I believe it’s currently at 100 days or so). When did you apply?

Did you apply online or by paper?

Hello everyone! I just checked on my Ecas and it says application received.
How were you able to find your application on ECAS?? Mine does not show up at all :(

Aug1 applicant here, was unable to find on ECAS yet - yet to receive AOR in the mail.

I must be using the wrong numbers to find the application.
I just noticed that @bluelady found her application on ECAS and her application was received August 21! That's why I wonder what numbers she's used! Hopefully she'll get back soon!
I tried too many times today so I am locked out o_O I'm going to have to try again tomorrow!

I used my UCI when I applied for my TRV. And i was able to see that "permanent resident application: application received " and when I clicked the application received it showed up "we received your application in August 21,2019."

We send in on August 9, recieved by August 13
I am a canadian citizen and my wife is from the Ukraine.
We are applying inland from Dawson Creek BC

Hey there!!
Me and my husband sent our inland spousal PR and OWP as well!
App sent: Aug 11, 2019
App received: Aug 13, 2019

My husband is the sponsor and he's a Canadian Citizen - we're applying from Calgary, Alberta

Best of luck to you and to everyone with this process!!
Hopefully we can get more people posting their progress here.
HI! may i ask you please which version did u use for im5406..the only one available now is from 09/ 2018 and did u pay the biometric fees? Thank u!

Our application is ready to go for inland spousal sponsorship. My wife is from the US. The final piece of the application puzzle is the FBI check. Two questions that I have:
1) Is the e-version of the FBI check sufficient for the PR application?
2) Is it necessary to submit the FBI check with the initial application, or are you prompted for the FBI check later on?

The FBI check is holding us up. I have seen info on another site that you don't need to submit the FBI check with the initial application. I want to make sure this is done right. Any advise is welcome. Thanks

Hi all,

I just applied to extend my stay today (9th Sept). Did it all online, digitally signed. The only issue I ran into is when you're uploading the documents you can only upload one at a time. This caused an issue when it came to 'means of financial support' as I needed to upload a letter from my husband and a letter from his employer.

If anyone else runs into this issue, the best way forward is to convert all your files into PDF format then use an online PDF Merger (such as https://www.pdfmerge.com/ ) or Adobe. This combined the two letters into one file which I could then upload. Hope this helps y'all as it was a bit of a head scratcher for me until somebody else on this forum told me!

Hey Guys,

Probably a dumb question but I'm just being my usual paranoid self... is it normal to have nothing showing in your online portal account at this point? Our application was sent via registered mall (Canada Post) on August 15 and signed for/received on August 22. When I check my husband's online account, it shows that there are no applications. Is this normal until the AOR is posted? Or should there be something in there now?

Thanks,

JRob
