I am also aug 2019 applicant. My application was oath ready from April 2021. From that date till today, no changes has happened in my application.I had seen many people with similar cases goes to CTV news to publish their case. Once CTV news contact immigration, CIC response immediately by scheduling a ceremony. Is this the only path to have our case heard?

Same situation passed test and BG and nothing after..2019 applications are the slowest. How we can reach to CTV can help us all? we need to contact CTV to conduct a detailed investigation and report details on 2019 applicants. We are all now eligible for citizenship as we have or about to complete 3 years since our application has been filled .

You are right, they were finalizing september 2019. But i had no update what so ever. Nearly 3 years now

I'm a Aug 2019 applicant with no progress at all. My case is not a complex one. Very simple case. They are barely working on 2020, 2019, and 2018 cases. Their priority seems to be 2021 cases at the moment. No idea who's bright idea that was at IRCC.

I know plenty of people who applied in 2021 , and they already have their citizenship and passport in hand. Yet i'm waiting here after 3 years with nothing.

They don't answer webforms, they don't answer the phone. They are completely useless.

I have involved my local MP, which I think won't help also, but better than nothing. Next step after MP will be getting a lawyer possibly.

See this news article / video , regarding our issues.

I am in the exact same situation as you - same month, single applicant and absolutely no movement or updates. This is shocking, I feel helpless. It’s very difficult to watch so many people that applied years after us obtain citizenship :-( I’m happy for those who have completed their process and wish to join them as well. Our MP did nothing - no updates yet.

I am also an August 2019 applicant, and my application was oath ready since January 4, 2021...but after that nothing happened!

We applied in August 2019! That is what wrong we did! We should have applied in 2021! As 2021 comes before 2019!!! It is so frustrating that I have no more words!!!!
People who applied between mid-2019 and end-2020 took it the worst during this whole delays.

I am August 2019 applicant. Does it make sense that we should send our fingerprint before they expire to avoid that when cic personal look at my application to schedule it for oath do not delay it because fingerprint expire. Then I am not sure how long it might take this time before someone look again at my application.

unfortunately we are passing through different the scenarios and unpleasant waiting experiences and the only thing that we can do is wait and keep on checking our application status to be changed. Nothing more we can do…lets keep the faith that we will reach to the end of our long time journey…it’s almost 17 years since we have submitted our immigration application.

The date of the last update in my application tracker was changed to today's date but nothing changed in the sections, I still have the test and background verifications completed and the rest in progress, and the oath has not started. But the thing is, the last updated date was always 23rd April 2021, today it changed to 4 mars 2022 what could that mean? Has anyone else got something similar?

Could it be because I wrote yesterday to the minister's office and Mrs. Tapley?
