Paper based applications are NOT moving
All CIC offices are working on 30% capacity or below.

I already mentioned according to CIC means it's on the website where it says march 10 to 16 are being processed. The rest of the information regarding closing of the offices etc etc 30 percent was told to me by the person working in the mp office . Sorry but Im not just gonna breast feed you the name of my source. I already mentioned the person is working in mp office. If u are really eager u can file writ of mandamus

Okay I get it. It’s just your inference and personal opinions. No facts to back up. Tnx for clarifying.

my personal opinion is that cic is a total mess ,the most disorganized department of any government in the world. My friend in the UK got his indefinite visa in a weeks time. What i told you regarding CIC is the information from someone reliable and I least care how you see it. I got the Information and I shared it and no matter how hard u try u wont get no name or no source from me . take it or leave it buddy. Atleast your lucky your decision is made , some of them like me are just sitting there like lame ducks.

Hi guys, l got a question. My application is in process since july 2019 and l haven't received test invite yet. Are we allow to stay outside the country for more 4 months while our application is in process???

Hi all, I received an online test invite this morning. I’m in the KW area. For those who have already passed the test, is there anything that I should know about or get prepared for other than the information in the email?

Lame defence for an excuse. 100% of submitted apps will definitely not be processed at the same time as no 2 apps/situations are similar. Yes, I’ve got DM ...see timeline and other info in my signature. I’m super happy just like everyone will be when they get theirs too. So give it a rest! I’m out!

@luvtrump nice bold statements like Trump. Yeah true. I guess it was the process and system being employed, that possibly slowed it down. With the pandemic and the changes thereby, it does look future applications will benefit from a more efficient and agile system/ process

Some nice weekend drama. Don't pull on each other's hair. It's too big system to fight and change. And possibly it might change for good eventually. For those waiting be patient it will come through.

With the speed they are moving, i doubt they will reach the future applications anytime soon. If they move all the new applications online instead of paper things might speed up.

I think they are working on a a lot of applications from 2020. No doubt the backlog from 2019 is still on, however, it is starting to move for a lot of 2019 applications too. With online TEST invites and Oath being completed. The new system is already helping. However, it would take some time to clear the backlog and get everything streamlined.

What is the new system ? you mean the online testing system ? The only new thing i heard is expansion of NS sydney office for processing of spousal applications. And another new thing i see on their website is they are processing applications of 2019 from march 16 to march 23 which is going by weekly. Next would be March 24 to March 30 and then comes Easter on the way , the applications will be delayed by another week so there will be a two week gap. Now considering for August applications it goes to 2 years and the ones that go complex add another 6 months .
