Hi, my wife applied for citizenship application in August 2019 and she received an email on December 2020 requesting for additional documents (which was a standard list that most on this forum have mentioned that they got). She got a test invite on December 19th and she wrote the test on December 30th and passed the test. She submitted all the documents on January 2nd and got a call from an officer on January 4th to re-send her passport as she only sent pages with stamps on. (They left a voicemail)

My wife was waiting for medical history which she received yesterday and emailed it right away to CIC. However she received another call today (3 calls back to back with No call id and I received a call on my cell with no call I’d at the same time). A lady officer left a voicemail for my wife stating that she is calling from IRCC and this call is regarding your citizenship application and left a 647 number to call back)

wejust want to know if anyone else has received calls from CIC in this manner as well? We are wondering if this could be a phishing call, since we already gotfraud calls from Toronto Hydro and UPS in the last month.

Yes IRCC might call people. To make sure it's legit, call IRCC call centre at 8 a.m and inquire. Good luck

There is no issue in calling back. Nowadays in pandemic, the officers cant follow all rules and regulations as they work from home/remote. Just call. Get the application moving.

Double check with IRCC call center about the call. The case should have notes on all outgoing calls.
We got a call early this week claimed / visible as IRCC contact center , but it was a phishing call. We are all anxious to get over this process but please make sure your personal information is not falling in wrong hands.

Online Test, yes. Generally speaking, there is no "interview". You take the test and then you get the oath invite. Some people get additional documents request before the test. What the OP referenced as "Test Interview date" is the date he actually took the test AFAIK.

That was pre-covid and its not same/similar after moving to online. Nowadays many dont get interview after the test. Test is also not live with the officer. Its direct oath after the test for many.

Very recently we see for few candidates on interview after the test but certainly its not mandatory and not being held for all.
