My test invite was December 30. They started processing my application on November 19. Its in Halifax office. My husband also got finger print request in early December, but I did not. He got a test invite a week before me through email. Hope it helps. Good luck.

I got fingerprint request today. But i aready did my fingerprints when i got my PR in 2017.is it normal?or should I call them to ask why I need to give fingerprints again.I dint mind to do it now but it will delay my application. Very confused.

You should just do it again. Pestering them would not do any good.

Hi called cic today agent confirmed fp received but no information for further processing and test and interview schedule. Even on this site no test invites as well from last so many days as well. Seems very slow process going on.

There were at least 12 people for the test on Jan 9 at Halifax office. Just be patient.

I borrowed the Discover Canada book from the library (you can ask the nearby library or ask them if they can get it for you from another library). Then you can google Citizenship Canada Practice test. They only sent online pdf which you can find yourself anyway. So no hard copy.

Thank you, my "in process" was Nov 20. Halifax Office. but nothing yet at this point. They did confirm that you received my travel dates. Maybe it will come after my return date to Canada. Thanks for your information.

It did not change to DM yet. But we had the interview and test just yesterday. I will post it ASAP it changes to DM.

Go to this address, Click on "Order a publication" button and then from left menu click on Citizenship link and order your book. After order, It will take almost 10-14 days until you receive your book.
