Should i call cic to schedule my test early like around or before 20th January So that test n delivery shouldn’t mess up n i should be free from test before having a new born or just wait for their invite?

I'm no expert here but what I would do is either call, send a message via the Web Form or even mail your processing office (if you know it) and inform them of your estimated dates of unavailability. It would make your case stronger if you could attach a letter from your doctor stating that you are due any time between X and Y dates.
I personally sent a message via the Web Form to inform IRCC of two upcoming trips in Jan and in March, each trip lasting up to 3 weeks. I attached a proof of my tickets and the reason I need to travel, and asked them to kindly ensure my exam does not fall on any of those dates.

Congratulations on the upcoming newborn and best of luck!

Did IRCC reply to you?

Yes three days later they acknowledged receiving my message and that they transferred the information to the office processing my file.
All I can do now is wait and see ...
Thank you for the info. I may give it a try on Monday. Mine has been in process since 11.20. and i have a few weeks of trips coming up mid Jan.
