Thank you for your response. It is very important for me to travel. I have booked my tickets as well. Should writing CIC would delay my case ?

from my friends personal experience. he was able to inform and reschedule test date with IRCC when he realized the original test date was gonna crush with his travel date.

our IRCC office just reopened in Aug in PEI. fingers crossed for a fast process. and to you all as well.

it was a few years back for his application. i asked the questions waiting for responses. he also said that on the test invite email it tells you if you can not make it you need to contact IRCC.

Sorry got it wrong. it was the ceremony date that he rescheduled , not test date. but he double checked the test interview invite email, it did say contact IRCC if you cannot make it to the test. so hopefully that means you can reschedule? not certain.

So do CIC send e-mail for citizenship test? Does anyone know if it allows you to reschedule the test date ? I am confused now :-(

yes he did receive the email with attachment, that is the only thing I am certain of at this point. but things could have changed now. I guess we will just have to wait and see when the test would be or call ahead to tell them u are travelling ?

Also, she said we can't give you the test date but it'll be from now until July (12 months time) LOL

Your file will go nearest to your residential location. IRCC has 9 different processing offices in Ontario.

Hi, I just joined the website. My citizenship application was received on 15th Aug by D.J. No AOR yet. Is anyone from first half of Aug still waiting for AOR?
