Good day to everyone , I will be so happy if I can get some help from this forum , My wife submitted my application for spouse sponsorship July 4 , and it was delivered July 6th when i check through the tracking , my application is out lander am based in south Africa , but we have not receive AOR , and is already over 3 month , everything is just quiet . is anyone going through the same problem ?

Also from South Africa It takes a while for them to give AOR for some reason, they probably have their reasons. We only submitted on 10 September so its probably going to take until December for us to get our AOR. And here we were thinking that we will be in Canada by January 2019 already haha. Good luck!

After dialing 10times and waiting on hold for about 30mins I spoke to an agent and was not very helpful at all

We sent in our application Aug 12 and from my Ems tracking there was no confirmation that it was or was not received. So I called CIC hoping I might get an answer if they have received my mail but the agent would only say that they are working on July 24 applications. She said there was no way to check as there are no applications being opened after July 24, which is BS because many people from this site are already getting AOR way past this date.

It’s just frustrating to have to wait and see if we have to start a new application or what?

I honestly don’t care if it takes 6-12months but the least they could do is check if our mail was received!

My husband's application was originally sent to Sydney NS but has been forwarded to Mississauga ON, which seems to be moving at a faster pace. There are definitely applicants from June and July who haven't heard anything from Sydney, and other locations.

Trying to get any info out of them prior to AOS is a struggle... I hope they pick up the pace for you!

IRCC Notification received for missing Biometrics payment: September 7th
Biometrics paid and submitted via IRCC webform: September 7th
IRCC Webform reciept confirmation: September 24th
IRCC Agent Notification for missing Biometric reciept: October 2nd
Biometric payment reciept resubmitted via email: October 2nd

Also, the photographs i submitted for the PA is of the wrong dimension. Awaiting IRCC to unleash more wrath in days to come

My PA is not from India.

Starting Aug 3rd 2018 the rule changed as per IRCC and hence i was required to submit the Biometric payments.

No, We are not required to submit Bio metrics. However any applicants from 2019 will need to do so.
